This work explores that absurdity. The cheerful tone. The too-good-to-be-true offer. The lurking danger behind a line that should never be executed.

“DM your seed phrase” is a lesson encoded in humor. It reflects crypto’s evolution, how education and experience have raised the baseline of sophistication, and how social engineering once outpaced technical knowledge.

It is funny until it is not. And that is what gives it weight.

This work is archival. A timestamp of a moment when openness became vulnerability and the early lessons of crypto were learned in loss.
