Permanence in Digital Form

In a world driven by consumption and constant change, Bitcoin represents permanence. It is the most established form of digital value, designed with fixed scarcity, transparent rules, and mathematical integrity.

Created in 2009 by the still-unknown Satoshi Nakamoto, Bitcoin introduced a monetary system without intermediaries. It allows individuals to hold and transfer wealth directly, secured by a decentralized network of computers that verify every transaction through consensus.

Only 21 million Bitcoin will ever exist. This limit is enforced by code, creating predictable supply in contrast to traditional currencies that lose value through inflation. Every four years, the halving reduces new issuance, reinforcing its scarcity and long-term appeal.

To own Bitcoin is to participate in a new model of financial sovereignty. It moves freely across borders, beyond control or censorship. What began as an experiment in digital money has evolved into a lasting store of value — a foundation for the future of finance.

The background of this painting references an early conceptual work by Lawrence Weiner titled Two Minutes of Spray Paint Applied Directly Upon the Floor from a Standard Aerosol Spray Can (1969).
